MNIT Jaipur CGPA Percentage: Check the 2016 Graduation Scope

The MNIT Jaipur certificate identifies both a notional factor and a graduation-year boundary. Check those details before using an older formula from a handbook or admissions page.

Check the official source and scope

The academic website lists conversion documents from different years. This guide uses Registrar Letter 2499 dated 7 December 2020 and its explicit coverage of graduates since 2016. It does not select a rule merely because it produces a higher percentage.

The Registrar’s 7 December 2020 letter permits CGPA ×10 notionally for graduates since 2016. This scope is based on graduation, not admission year. The certificate can be downloaded from the institute website; it says individual certificates are not issued. Earlier graduates are not covered by this preset.

Worked examples

Graduation year is the year relevant to this certificate. Someone admitted before 2016 can still graduate within its stated scope. Someone graduating earlier needs a separately applicable source instead of assuming that a later document applies retrospectively.

Save a PDF, print, download an image or share

After a valid calculation, Download PDF creates a portable report with the input, selected rule, result and source. Print report prepares that calculation for paper, and Download image creates a PNG. Keep the programme or batch label attached to the percentage.

Share opens a preview, initially containing the tool link. Choose Include current result if you want the input and calculation details included, and review the preview before sharing. This website’s report is an independent calculation rather than a university certificate.

Questions students ask

Does “since 2016” mean admission in 2016?

The cited letter says graduates since 2016. Use the completion or graduation record to check that scope; do not substitute admission year.

Can I use a semester GPA instead of final CGPA?

Use the period and metric requested by the application. A semester GPA describes one term; the final cumulative record can cover a different set of courses. Do not substitute one simply because it gives a higher percentage.
