Tripura University NEP CGPA Percentage: The 2023–24 UG Rule
Tripura University’s NEP undergraduate regulations provide a cumulative conversion rule for their affiliated-college scope. An older student record should not automatically be moved into that scheme.

Official formula and applicability
The regulations take effect from academic session 2023–24 and cover the specified undergraduate programmes in affiliated colleges. Clause 17, on printed page 23, states multiplication by 10 after explaining how semester credits contribute to cumulative performance.
The verified regulations govern NEP undergraduate programmes in affiliated colleges in Arts, Science and Commerce, effective academic session 2023–24. Clause 17 states equivalent percentage =CGPA×10. The savings provision preserves earlier regulations for students admitted before enforcement; this preset does not verify older cohorts or postgraduate programmes.
Worked conversion examples
The repeal-and-savings clause keeps the former regulations in force for students admitted before the new framework came into effect. The same university name therefore does not establish that every record uses this rule. Confirm your admission session and the scheme printed on the mark sheet before selecting the preset.
| CGPA | Equivalent percentage |
|---|---|
| 6.00 | 60.00% |
| 7.00 | 70.00% |
| 8.00 | 80.00% |
| 9.00 | 90.00% |
Percentage = CGPA × 10

Download, print and share your calculation
Download PDF saves a report containing the input, formula, result and official source. Print report prepares the calculation for printing. Download image creates a PNG that can be kept with your study records. Each option becomes available after a valid input.
Share opens a preview containing the calculator link by default. You can choose to include the current result, then review the details before sharing. A report from this website explains the arithmetic; it is not a university-issued certificate.
Frequently asked questions
Does this page verify Tripura University postgraduate conversion?
No. The checked document is an affiliated-college undergraduate NEP regulation. Postgraduate and earlier undergraduate schemes need their own applicable source.
Can this tool recover my exact paper-wise marks?
No. A cumulative percentage equivalent does not reveal individual paper marks or replace the transcript. Use the original marks record when an application asks for actual marks.
