Verified source documents and applicability

The official student-forms page separates admissions before 2019 from admissions from 2019 onward. UG ordinance E.21 specifies CGPA×10−5 for the latter and CGPA×10 for the former. This preset uses the verified undergraduate scope; confirm the applicable programme document for a different degree. The boundary is admission year, not graduation year. The newer certificate dated 25 March 2019 says no fixed exact marks conversion exists under relative grading and permits this expression for practical purposes; its result is therefore labelled indicative.

Admitted from 2019 onward

Indicative percentage = CGPA × 10 − 5

UG Ordinance, clause E.21; separate conversion certificates listed by admission year

This is a indicative numerical conversion, not a reconstruction of actual marks.

CGPA, SGPA and percentage: choose the right input

SGPA describes one semester; final CGPA covers the required cumulative study period. A single semester’s GPA should not stand in for a completed degree result. If you need to calculate a credit-weighted average first, use the CGPA calculator. For academic goals, try the target CGPA planner.

Conversion does not certify passing status, honours, division or eligibility. Those decisions can depend on conditions beyond the number, including completed courses and programme regulations.

Frequently asked questions

Is graduation in 2019 enough to select the newer formula?

No. The published distinction is the year of admission. Check the admission record and governing undergraduate regulation, rather than using the graduation date.

Can I download or share my result?

Yes. After entering valid values, use Download PDF, Print report or Download image. Share opens a preview; the default shares only the tool link. Choose Include current result to share your report details.

Is the report an official university certificate?

No. This independent calculator applies the selected published method. Use the official marksheet or obtain a conversion certificate from your college or university when required.
