Verified source documents and applicability

Circular Exam/Result/403 of 2026, dated 1 January 2026, addresses applicable programmes and academic patterns in Arts, Science, Commerce and Management. It repeals the cited 2018 and 2019 circulars. The college performs the conversion; a University conversion letter is available on request. Do not assume this covers an engineering or other programme with separate rules.

Percentage = total marks obtained ÷ total maximum marks × 100

Exam/Result/403 of 2026, 1 January 2026, items 1–4

Example: 4,200 marks out of a combined maximum of 6,000 across the six applicable semesters gives 4,200 ÷ 6,000 × 100 = 70.00%. Do not average semester percentages when their maximum marks differ.

CGPA, SGPA and percentage: choose the right input

SGPA describes one semester; final CGPA covers the required cumulative study period. A single semester’s GPA should not stand in for a completed degree result. If you need to calculate a credit-weighted average first, use the CGPA calculator. For academic goals, try the target CGPA planner.

Conversion does not certify passing status, honours, division or eligibility. Those decisions can depend on conditions beyond the number, including completed courses and programme regulations.
