Tezpur University CGPA Percentage: The 2019 Regulation Guide
Tezpur University gives an explicit equivalent-percentage equation in its 2019 academic regulations. Check both the effective session and the exclusions before applying it to an academic record.

Official formula and applicability
Clauses 1.1.2 and 1.1.3 make these regulations effective from academic session 2019–20 and applicable to existing as well as new students in their scope. Therefore, admission before 2019 is not by itself proof that the regulation is irrelevant to a student who remained enrolled under it.
The 2019 UG/PG regulations, effective academic session 2019–20, state Equivalent percentage =10×CGPA in equation 1.3. They apply to existing and new students within their scope. Doctoral programmes and Centre for Open and Distance Learning programmes have separate regulations; they are not verified by this preset.
Worked conversion examples
The footnote on scope separates doctoral and Centre for Open and Distance Learning programmes. For the supported cumulative record, equation 1.3 on printed page 10 multiplies CGPA by 10. Use the official cumulative value; a rounded average of semester GPAs may lose credit weighting and precision.
| CGPA | Equivalent percentage |
|---|---|
| 6.00 | 60.00% |
| 7.00 | 70.00% |
| 8.00 | 80.00% |
| 9.00 | 90.00% |
Percentage = CGPA × 10

Download, print and share your calculation
Download PDF saves a report containing the input, formula, result and official source. Print report prepares the calculation for printing. Download image creates a PNG that can be kept with your study records. Each option becomes available after a valid input.
Share opens a preview containing the calculator link by default. You can choose to include the current result, then review the details before sharing. A report from this website explains the arithmetic; it is not a university-issued certificate.
Frequently asked questions
Is the same source valid for Tezpur distance-learning programmes?
No. The document states that CODL programmes have separate regulations. This preset verifies the cited UG/PG regulation and does not establish the distance-learning rule.
Can this tool recover my exact paper-wise marks?
No. A cumulative percentage equivalent does not reveal individual paper marks or replace the transcript. Use the original marks record when an application asks for actual marks.
