This policy applies to cgpacalcul.com, published under the name CGPA Calculator. Contact [email protected] about privacy questions or requests. It describes this website’s features; it does not govern a university system, your email provider or an app you choose for sharing.
Calculator inputs and local history
The calculator code processes the grades, credits, attendance counts, targets and report names you enter in your browser. It does not submit those entered values to a calculator account or application database. If you choose Save current semester, the semester name, calculated GPA and credits are stored in this browser’s local storage under this website’s origin. Other people using the same browser profile may be able to view those records. Remove saved entries using the history tool or clear this website’s browser data to delete them. Local history remains until it is removed, browser storage is cleared or the browser stops retaining it; it is not a cloud backup.
Downloads, printing and sharing
PDF and PNG reports are generated in your browser. Downloads are saved through your browser or device, and printing uses your chosen printer or PDF destination. Share opens a preview with a choice between the tool link alone and the current report. Copying places the selected text on your device clipboard. If you then share through another app or service, that recipient and service receive the content you choose. Their own privacy terms apply. These actions do not create a public result page on this website.
Email enquiries
If you email us, your email address, message and any attachments are processed to review and respond to the enquiry, investigate issues or handle a request. The email services involved also process the message. Avoid including student IDs, passwords or unnecessary personal documents. Enquiry records may be retained while the matter is being handled and afterward where needed for follow-up, security, dispute handling or applicable record-keeping obligations. Ask us about retention or deletion of a particular message; we have not published a fixed retention schedule for every enquiry type.
Hosting, security and technical information
Requests to the website pass through hosting and delivery services. These services may process technical details such as IP addresses, request URLs, timestamps, browser information and error or security events to deliver pages, protect the site and diagnose problems. Technical log retention depends on the hosting and service settings; contact us for information about a particular request. WordPress uses cookies for functions such as administrator sign-in. Browser settings can be used to manage cookies and site storage, although blocking necessary storage can affect some features.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
A Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon is present on the site. It measures page performance and usage metrics. Cloudflare documents this service as collecting timing metrics without tracking individuals across customer websites. This is separate from the locally saved semester history. Cloudflare’s own documentation and privacy policy explain its processing and retention. The calculator code does not deliberately add entered grades or report contents to analytics events.

Hosting, website delivery, analytics and email providers may process information as described above. External sites and services have their own policies. Provider processing locations can differ from your location. Do not assume that an external service has the same storage or privacy settings as this website.
Your choices and requests
You can use the tools without creating a student account, avoid entering a report name, remove local history, clear browser storage and choose not to share a result. Contact [email protected] to ask about information you have sent us or to request access, correction or deletion where applicable. The rights and complaint routes available to you depend on the law that applies to your circumstances. We may need proportionate information to locate a record and verify a request.
